Ten years ago today we lost him: I knew Howard Arthur Faye for less than a year. And yet he changed my life.
Rest in peace, old friend.

Wrong on substance, wrong on details. In a Rose Garden press conference, Dubya joined the administration chorus denouncing the recent Amnesty Internation report: Mr Bush said its accusations therefore stemmed from "people who hate America, people that have been trained in some instances to disassemble, that means not tell the truth". That he got the word wrong is normal; that he then defined the word he got wrong is just, well, priceless.
